The plugin for WordPress for Georedirect, but also in general even if you just paste the code directly without using the plugin, has a general conflict with the Elementor plugin. This conflict can cause Elementor to hang and never load the editor.
Preferred fix — Iframe Settings toggle: In your Geo Redirect advanced settings, enable the Iframe settings toggle. When enabled, the Geo Redirect script will not run inside iframes, which prevents the conflict with Elementor's live editor. You can find this setting under Geo Redirect → Advanced Settings → Iframe settings.
Note: Enabling Iframe settings may also stop legitimate iframe embeds (such as partner integrations or preview widgets) from triggering redirects. If that is a concern, use the fallback below instead.
Fallback workaround — Elementor Safe Mode: Please enable Safe Mode in Elementor (Elementor → Tools → Safe Mode) before editing. Safe Mode loads Elementor without 3rd-party plugins/themes, avoiding the clash.
Please reference this guide for more information: https://elementor.com/help/what-is-safe-mode/.
You can then disable Safe Mode after finishing the edits. The issue with this workaround is that it will disable all plugins, which we understand is not something you may want.
