The Geo Content service allows you to dynamically change or hide content on website based on a visitor's geolocation. You can choose to display elements like phone numbers, rich text, images, video, links and any custom HTML differently based on where a users comes from.

For every Geo Content setup, you can choose one of 4 ways to modify your site content based on visitor location:

  • Enter content using our in-built HTML editor

We offer a simple editor where you can write a HTML code, we recommend this option if content only needs to be displayed in one part of your website. Our Geo Content service will automatically inject the location based content where the Geo Content HTML tag is placed.

  • Enter content directly in your website using our Smart HTML Tag wrappers

You can wrap existing content in your website with Smart HTML tag that we provide

  • Hide existing elements of your page

You can choose to hide a specific existing element by entering CSS classes or IDs of page elements for any specific location segment

  • Change specific text throughout your page

You can change any text you want by adding a content replacement rule. It works best for simple changes.

We offer a quick start guide for each of the 4 modes which you can find here: https://geotargetly.com/guides/geo-content

You can deliver or hide different content based on user's country, state/region, city, latitude-longitude-radius zone IP address and also browser language.

You can also blocklist the content geocustomization via a URL parameter, so you can choose not to apply Geo Content whenever is convenient.

You can create multiple location segment - content rules so visitors from different locations can see different content.

Let us know via chat or through [email protected] if this makes sense, we can help you set it up!
